Mike Acker

Michael R. Acker has more than two decades of experience representing clients in insurance defense and personal injury matters. He founded Acker Law Group, LLC with a vision to provide more personal, responsive service—combining deep litigation experience with a genuine concern for his clients’ well-being.

Mike earned his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Maryland. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, the District of Columbia, Maryland, and West Virginia. His practice focuses on both plaintiff’s personal injury and insurance defense, including auto accidents, dog bites, slip and fall, and related litigation.

Outside the office, Mike enjoys running, marathons, and CrossFit, and spending time with his family.

Mirta Gallagher

Mirta Gallagher assists Mike with case matters, client communication, and day-to-day operations. She works closely with clients throughout their matters and supports the team at depositions, court events, and other proceedings.

Mirta resides in Silver Spring, Maryland, and is the parent of three children.

Caroline Chambers

Caroline Chambers manages the office and supports the firm’s practice. She graduated from Sweet Briar College and the Moore School of Business, and is a member of the South Carolina bar.

Caroline enjoys reading, hiking, traveling, and time with family.
